DMCA Policy
Toolsyte.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Policy describes how to submit a copyright infringement notice and how we process counter-notifications.
Designated Copyright Agent
To submit a notification of claimed copyright infringement, please send a written notice to our designated agent at the contact information below. Replace any bracketed text with accurate information if needed.
- Email: contact@toolsyte.com
Note: We recommend sending notices by email for faster processing. If you choose to mail a notice, please allow additional time for delivery.
How to Submit a DMCA Notice (Takedown Request)
To be valid under the DMCA, your notice must be a written communication that includes all of the following elements:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with sufficient information to locate the material on Toolsyte (for example, the exact URL).
- Contact information for the complaining party, including an address, telephone number, and an email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Send notices to our Copyright Agent at contact@toolsyte.com (preferred) or to the mailing address listed above.
What We Will Do After Receiving a Valid Notice
Upon receipt of a valid notice, Toolsyte will act expeditiously to investigate and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We may also notify the user who posted the material and provide them with a copy of the notice. We may take additional actions as necessary, including terminating accounts of repeat infringers.
Counter-Notification Procedure
If your material has been removed or disabled due to a DMCA notice and you believe this was done in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal (for example, the URL).
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your district (or if outside the United States, a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice).
Send counter-notifications to contact@toolsyte.com. After receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original claimant files a lawsuit seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity. We will follow applicable law in processing counter-notifications.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Toolsyte may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate or restrict access for users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We will apply this policy consistent with applicable law and our internal procedures.
Preservation of Privacy and Disclosure
We will treat DMCA notices and counter-notifications as confidential to the extent practicable and permitted by law. However, we may disclose the contents of notices or counter-notices to third parties (including the user who posted the content) as part of our investigation and in order to comply with legal obligations or court orders.
False Claims and Penalties
Please be aware that knowingly submitting false or materially misleading information in a DMCA notice or counter-notification may expose the submitter to liability, including damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) or other applicable laws.
Non-DMCA Complaints
If your complaint does not involve copyright (for example, trademark, privacy, or defamation), please contact us at contact@toolsyte.com and provide details so we may address the issue under the appropriate policy.
